Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

By using Podway, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written to be readable, not to hide anything.

The service

Podway is a platform that lets you build and deploy applications to Kubernetes without managing infrastructure directly. We provide the tooling; you provide the code and the intention to use it responsibly.

Your account

You sign in with GitHub. You're responsible for maintaining control of your GitHub account and for everything that happens under your Podway account. If you notice unauthorized activity, contact us immediately atsecurity@podway.dev.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Podway, or have the permission of a parent or guardian if you're younger.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Podway to:

  • Deploy applications that are illegal under Philippine law or the laws of your jurisdiction
  • Send spam, run botnets, or conduct denial-of-service attacks
  • Mine cryptocurrency
  • Host malware, phishing pages, or content designed to harm others
  • Attempt to access or interfere with other users' data or infrastructure
  • Deliberately abuse or exhaust platform resources in ways that affect other users
  • Resell or redistribute access to Podway without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

Your data and code

Your code, container images, and configuration data remain yours. We don't claim ownership of anything you deploy through Podway. We access your data only to operate the service.

Plans and billing

The Hobby plan is free. The Pro plan is billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time — your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period, then your account reverts to the Hobby plan.

We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, but if something went wrong on our end, reach out and we'll make it right.

Service availability

We aim to keep Podway running reliably, but we're an early-stage product. We don't guarantee uptime or provide an SLA at this time. We'll communicate outages and maintenance through our status page.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of the service at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give you reasonable notice to export your data.

Limitation of liability

Podway is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including data loss, deployment failures, or service downtime. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of Podway after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.
